We are studying 2D and 3D shapes. In math workshop we are working in a 4 station rotation to explore different aspects of 2D and 3D shapes.
Station #1 Building Geoblocks---students work with 3D shapes and put them together to make new and different 3D shapes.
Station #4 Computer shape station---students go to our class website and click on the link for 2D and 3D shapes. They are able to read about the different shapes and be able to manipulate them around to look at them more deeply.

Station #3 Shape Exploration---students work out of our Invetigations workbook with different pages to take a deeper look at 2D shapes like rhombus', trapezoids, triangles, squares and hexagons. (no pictures listed)
